Vikas Arya is the Secretary of DAV Group of Schools, Chennai. Prior to joining DAV in 2016, he spent over a decade in the Financial Services domain, working with International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group), Gaja Capital Partners, Crisil and General Motors.
He is an alumnus of DAV and has an MBA from IIM-Bangalore. He is also a Chartered Accountant and has a BCom in Accounting from the University of Madras.
Arya holds expertise in private equity investment, valuation of companies, negotiation and portfolio management. In addition, he has learnt various aspects of the Vedic philosophy at the Darshanyog Mahavidyalaya, Gujarat. Arya is also a visiting faculty at IIM Indore, offering courses on Private equity/Venture capital.
He has also authored a series of Value education books for the children, titled – ‘Fostering Vedic Values’.
