Uma Ravithran is the Head of College Counseling at Indus International School, Bangalore.
She began her career as an IGCSE and A’ level’ teacher at a school in Sri Lanka in the year 2003 and since then have taught various international curricula such as Cambridge, A ‘levels, AQA, and IB.
In 2008, she moved to India to work with the International School in Bangalore.
She is an English teacher/College Counsellor by profession and has been guiding and supervising subject-specific and curriculum-specific e-course works and the extended essay.
Ravitharan has also held various leadership positions throughout her career and enjoys working with the age group 17 – 19.
She believes in student agency and giving them accountability for their learning and work.
