Joutishman Dutta is Managing Trustee of Assam Downtown University and is a part of the University’s founding team.
He has an MBA in Finance from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Sciences Mumbai.
He is also actively involved in several livelihood and skill projects across the region. With all its projects today, the Trust is one of the largest non-government organisations in the region with over 800 staff and various initiatives.
Dutta currently drives the future expansion of the organisation in new skill centres, research centres, agro-based projects and educational projects across the region.
He is actively involved in mentoring and incubating new ideas and companies. He is the founder behind the idea of downtown venture labs, an incubation centre fully self-financed by the group.
Being part of a local business group in the region, Dutta is very passionate about local businesses and supporting and setting up local businesses.
