Dr Shahnaz Ahmed, Founder & Managing Trustee, Springdale High School, Jorhat has dedicated her life to promoting quality education over a span of thirty-five years.
She believes in imparting child-centric education, with the motto to develop the child’s mind, body and soul.
Dr Ahmed holds a Doctorate in Education, an MA in English from Guwahati University and a BA in English from Handique Girls College. She is also trained in the field of Education in CCE and Child Psychology.
She is the former National President of the Country Women’s Association of India.
She is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Pride of India Award 2017 for Excellence in Women Entrepreneur Category by Global Leaders Foundation, the Star of Asia Awards 2018 by Global Leaders Foundation, the Nelson Mandela Global Peace Award, 2018 for Excellence in Social & Public Service, and the International Educator Award, 2019 by CED Foundation in Dubai.
