John Rafi, Director, St. Xavier’s High School
John Rafi is currently the Director Principal of St. Xaviers High School, Sector 49, Gurgaon. Formerly, the Principal of La Martiniere for Boys, Kolkata, where he served in that capacity for six years, and brought back the joy of teaching and thus created a congenial environment for learning.
He has a teaching experience of more than twenty years, a considerable part of which has been in La Martiniere College, Lucknow, where he taught Physics to senior classes.
He also co-authored a text cum hand book on ISC-12 Physics. His Awards and Recognitions include ‘Global Award-2020’ Global Achievers Foundation, Mother Teresa International Award ‘Certificate of Honour’ from The Times of India Group.
He was conferred upon the ‘Inspiring Best Teacher Award’ on 20th November, 2017 by UEM (University of Engineering and Management), Kolkata.
He was presented with the ‘Rashtriya Pratibha Award’ for Distinguished Services to the Nation on 6th October, 2017 at New Delhi.
