Dr. Saxena is an institution builder, marketing academic and an author in
marketing, corporate strategy, institution building and leadership. He held the
position of Vice Chancellor of NMIMS (Narsee Monjee Institute of Management
Studies), (Deemed University) Mumbai from 2009 to 2020. Prior to this position,
he held the position of Director IIM Indore, IBS Gurgaon, and S.P.Jain Institute
of Management Studies and Research(SPJIMR) Mumbai.
Dr. Saxena has advised leading Indian and multinational companies in areas of
branding, marketing strategy and organization structures and leadership.
Some of Dr. Saxena’s recent awards are
ASMA’S Longest Serving Vice Chancellor Award (2019), Rotary Club Bombay
West’s Excellence Award in Vocational Education(2019) and AIMA’S Kewal
Nohria Award for Academic Leadership in Management Education(2020).
Dr. Saxena has Cofounded with other educators and industry professionals The
OpenEdworks, which is a consulting, training, research and network
organization.
