Prof Ujjwal K Chowdhury is the Adviser & Professor, Daffodil International University, Dhaka. He is a leading media and communication academic in India and is known for his convergent approach to media education starting from an integrated broad base leading to focused specialisation at the top.
A known face in TV studio debates and a regular writer in Indian media, Prof Ujjwal K Chowdhury was also Director of NSHM Media & Design School.
He has an extensive experience in media education. He was earlier the Dean of Amity University, Dean of DGMC Media College, Mumbai University; Director NSHM Media & Design School and Dean of both.
He has been associated with several media organisations including Business India TV, Zee News, Times of India Group and WHO Media. Prof Chowdhury is the recipient of the Golden Triangle Award by the Global Forum for Public Relations and has been honoured with the Hall of Fame in PR and PR Education by Public Relations Council of India
