Dr Ch S Durga Prasad is the Director of Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management. He has a combined academic, research and industry experience of over three decades.

Dr Prasad holds an M.Com and PhD, and is a member of AIMS-International, the All India Management Association, CII, Hyderabad, HR in India – an e-group of HR professionals, and is a Life Member of the National HRD Network.

He has served as a Member of the Curriculum Review Committee, University of Hyderabad and was appointed as Examiner for Doctoral Committee PhD by BITS Pilani. Dr Prasad has been instrumental in conducting numerous HR, managerial and self-development programmes and training for professionals across various sectors.

He is the author of two books – Corporate Finance, Telugu Academy, Hyderabad and Workers’ Participation in Management, Discovery Publishing House, New Delhi in 1995. He has also written and presented several research papers on HR, management and entrepreneurship in various journals.
