Prof. Dr. Sayalee Gankar, Vice-Chancellor, DY Patil University is an academician, researcher, and professional trainer in entrepreneurship. She has more than three decades of experience working with leading organizations as a Chairman, member, and consultant. She also served as Dean – of Management (PG), Dean – Of academics, and Director of two business schools at MIT, Pune.
Her areas of expertise are in academic leadership, specializing in areas of Strategic Planning, Institution Building, Academic Programming & Planning, Developing Policies & Procedures, Syllabus Framework, Research, Consultancy, Industry Collaborations, Rankings, and Accreditation.
Prof Dr. Gankar has worked as Board of Studies Chairman and member at Savitribai Phule Pune University, JKLU, SIU, and NIBM. She has delivered plenary Academic & Research sessions in Paris, Poland, Dubai, and Bhutan and has over 45 research publications at the national and international levels to her credit.
She is the recipient of several awards including the National Award as ‘Best Trainer Motivator’ by EDI, Ahmedabad, the ‘APJ Kalam – Leadership Award’ by FUEL, the ‘Dronacharya Award’ for Outstanding Contribution to Education by The HR Club, ‘Mother Teresa Shiksha Ratna Award’ by International Business Council and The Crest of Honor by NSE, MCCIA, NSL, and CSI, among others.
