Dr Ravi Kumar Jain, Dean, Vijay Patil School of Management, is a start-up evangelist and institution builder with over 20 years of experience. His areas of research interest are corporate finance, valuations, market microstructure, business economics and outsourcing.

He holds a Doctorate in Business Management and a Masters in Business Administration (Finance) and PGD in ICT management.

Dr Jain was the Founding Director of Symbiosis Institute of Research & Innovation in Pune and Founding Director of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Hyderabad Campus. He is currently the Founding Dean of Vijay Patil School of Management, Navi Mumbai.

He is an avid researcher with over 150 international and national publications to his credit and has authored and edited more than 40 books.

Dr Jain has been honoured with several awards, including the ‘Best Director of B-School 2018’ by ISDSI, the ‘Researcher of the Year’ award, 2004 and the Shiksha Rattan Award, 2013 by Indo-US friendship society, among others.
