Dr Maran Kaliyamoorthy is Professor & Director, Sri Sai Ram Institute of Management Studies, Sri Sai Ram Engineering College, Chennai. He has over 30 years of experience in teaching and is passionate about teaching, training, research and learning through innovative techniques focused on the betterment of society.

He is an ED Cell Co-coordinator, nurturing entrepreneurial and startup ideas through knowledge sharing and has organised ED programmes in association with AICTE, MSME, TIIC and TNEDI.

Prof Kaliyamoorthy has experimented in different fields of management studies and has published and presented 220 research articles in referred journals at national and international conferences. He has authored books on Total Quality Management, Accounting for Management, Financial Management and Principles of Marketing and Management.

He has received several awards including the AIMS Best Teacher Award, ISTE – TN Chapter, the Best Engineering College Teacher Award and the Best Research Supervisor, Director, and ED Cell Coordinator.
