Dr. Sudhakar Rao, Director – Branding, ICFAI Group heads Branding for the entire group that includes 11 ICFAI Universities, 9 ICFAI Business Schools, 7 Tech Schools, 7 Law Schools and a huge Distance Learning Program. He is an accomplished Brand Strategist, a Start-up Mentor and a Social Media Advisor.
Sudhakar Rao has a BE in Mechanical Engineering and went to IIM, Bangalore for Post Graduate Program in Management. He has also completed a specialized program on Design Thinking from MIT Sloan School of Management.
In a career spanning over 20 yrs, Sudhakar Rao played multiple roles in the areas such as Branding, Marketing, Corporate Relations and International Operations. His areas of interest include Innovation, Technology, Entrepreneurship, Diversity, Inclusiveness, Design Thinking apart from Branding.
Over the last 2 decades, Sudhakar Rao has been involved in sectors such as Textiles, Food and Education, where he not only instrumental in launching several brands but also nurtured them towards creating a meaningful presence in the market place.
Sudhakar Rao is a key-note speaker at various national and international fora. He is also the Co-chair for education subcommittee on FICCI Telangana State Council.
