The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched a new mobile app for parents and students affiliated with CBSE schools. The new mobile application, known as ‘Dost for Life’ is aimed exclusively to offer help and psychological counselling for parents and students.

The app can be used from 10th May onwards and has been specially designed for 9th to 12th class students and parents. The app is designed to cater to the needs of all students and parents, affiliated with CBSE schools across the world in any geographical area.

The Board has decided to conduct free live counselling sessions thrice a week by trained counsellors or Principals on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Parents and students can choose between two-time slots i.e. 9:30 am to 1:30 pm or 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm through a Chatbox as per their availability and convenience.

The progressive app will provide students with information on course guides after 10+2, tips on maintaining mental and physical wellbeing, a Coronavirus guide and access to many rap songs.

The app is available for download on the Google Play store and can be used on any android device. The Board is working to make this app available for other phone users as well in due course of time.
