Central University of Odisha (CUO) joins CUET 2022

The Central University of Odisha (CUO), Koraput, has recently joined the Common University Entrance Test (undergraduate) (CUET (UG)-2022) for admission into different undergraduate programmes.

For the 2022 session, joining the CUET (PG) is not compulsory for the Central universities. However, the CUO has decided to be a part of the CUET (PG)-2022.

The National Testing Agency (NTA), established under the Ministry of Education, will organize the CUET (UG)-2022 examination for all the Central Universities. Right from registration of the candidates for declaration of the results and hosting the score card, NTA will take the entire responsibility.

The participating universities will create the merit list and hold counselling sessions based on the scorecards provided by the NTA. The final merit list will be prepared as per the eligibility criterias and reservation rules specified in the respective prospectus of the universities.

Sharat Kumar Palita, the Vice-Chancellor (in-charge), CUO, informed that the NTA will conduct CUET at 28 different examination centres all across Odisha through computer-based test (CBT) mode.
