Prof Jagdish Sheth Has Been Nominated For The Conferment of Padma Bhushan
The highest civilian award ‘Padma Vibhushan’ has been awarded to Former Union Ministers Late Arun Jaitley and Late Sushma Swaraj are amongst 7 people who will be awarded the Padma Vibhushan award. The Awards are given in various disciplines/ fields of activities, viz.- art, social work, public affairs, science and engineering, trade and industry, medicine, literature and education, sports, civil service, etc.
Prof Jagdish Sheth has been nominated for the conferment of Padma Bhushan along with Chairman of Mahindra Group Anand Mahindra and CMD of TVS Group Venu Srinivasan, Classical singer Ajoy Chakravorty, Badminton Player P V Sindhu is amongst 12 others. The Padma Shri has been awarded to 118 people.
Prof. Jagdish Seth is a Charles H. Kellstadt Professor of Business at Emory University Goizueta Business School and Founder of Academy of Indian Marketing.
He is a renowned scholar and internationally recognized thought leader. He has published more than 300 research papers and more than 30 books on various disciplines and topics. His insights on global competition, strategic thinking, geopolitics, and emerging markets are considered revolutionary.
