The Research and Information System Launched University Connect Program For All HEIs
India recently experienced a moment of great honor as it hosted the G20 Summit in New Delhi during its presidency. Alongside embracing the G20 New Leader’s Declaration, which holds significant implications for the sustainable economic growth of nations, education was also a crucial topic in the core discussions of the G20.
The summit also signifies notable progress in the G20 University Connect Program led by Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) in New Delhi, this initiative enjoys support from the G20 Secretariat. Under this program, our Hon’ble Prime Minister intends to engage with vice-chancellors, principals, faculty, and students from various universities and colleges on September 26, 2023, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The event is scheduled to commence at 3:00 p.m.
The Objective of this Program
The program proposes to highlight the key points that were discussed during the summit including potential opportunities and outcomes of the G20 summit.
How to Join the Program
In view of the above, the higher educational institutions (HEIs) of the National Capital Region (NCR) are requested to participate in the event by nominating 30–40 students and two faculty members to attend the program. The head of the institution is also invited to join the event.
