Prof Suhrud Neurgaonkar, Director of MIT School of Distance Education, Pune, is an academician, researcher and administrator.
He holds a Bachelor’s of Commerce degree, a Master’s of Commerce degree in Finance & Control, an MBS in Finance and a PhD in Management.
During his illustrious career, Prof Neurgaonkar was actively involved in conceptualizing the Academic Model for School of Economics and Finance at Avantika University, Ujjain and was actively involved in designing the model for fundraising strategies for the proposed Vishwasheela University, Pune.
He also has numerous research projects and papers to his credit and is the recipient of many awards including the ‘Best Teacher in Financial Management’ by Amar Ujjala B-School Excellence Awards in 2012-13 and the ‘Ideal Teacher Award’ by the World Peace Centre of MAAER’s MIT, Pune, India in 2013.
