Dr RD Patidar, Vice-Chancellor, OP Jindal University, Raigarh, has nearly 25 years of academic, industry, research and academic administration experience.

He is an alumnus of APSU Rewa, SGSITS, Indore and Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He was earlier associated with Jindal Steel & Power Ltd, Raigarh in the Power Generation Division.

Dr Patidar has worked as a lecturer, professor, Dean (Academic) & Incharge Director with Mandsaur Institute of Technology, Mandsaur.

He is the recipient of several scholarships and awards such as MHRD Scholarship for pursuing PhD from IIT, Roorkee, and Gold Medal at ME level, best paper award in IEEE conference and Best Teacher Award.

He is a lifetime member of the Indian Society for Technical Education and professional membership of Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

Dr Patidar has published and presented more than 30 research papers in reputed international journals and conference proceedings.
