Dr Victor Gambhir is Vice-Chancellor SGT University. He specialises in Quality in Higher Education, Accreditation, Procurement, Project Management, Education Administration and Management.

Dr Gambhir completed his BE in Mechanical Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. He also has a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College and a PhD in Quality in Engineering Education from Manav Rachna International University.

As an educator, Dr Gambhir has taught Polytechnic, B Tech and M Tech students and as well as Research. He is adept at Education Management at the level of Polytechnics, Engineering College and University.

He has successfully completed two World Bank assisted projects namely the Technician Education Development Project in Haryana and the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme for Engineering Colleges.

He has also handled work related to academics and development including the establishment of new institutions, starting new courses, curriculum development, state admission and legal matters.
