Prof Arjya B Majumdar, Dean, Admissions and Outreach, OP Jindal Global University, teaches corporate law and related subjects at JGLS.

He has worked as a corporate lawyer with law firms such as Economic Laws Practice, FoxMandal Little and Desai and Diwanji.

As a corporate lawyer, Prof Majumdar has advised large corporate houses and PSUs on matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, foreign investments into India, joint ventures and private equity.

Prof Majumdar is widely renowned as an expert in M&A, corporate social responsibility, crowdfunding and cryptocurrency, and has published numerous books on these subjects.

He has structured and handled transactions and deals involving share purchases, investments, takeovers, IPOs, FCCBs, GDRs, has undertaken due diligence exercises, drafting, vetting and negotiation of transactions and offer documents and has provided interpretative opinions on Indian commercial law.

He also has considerable experience in advising companies in sectors such as telecom, real estate, renewable energy and infrastructure.
