Dr DN Rao, President, Vignana Jyothi Society, Hyderabad, is an ‘edupreneur’ and a mentor for many start-ups. He is the founder of Duke Arnics, a pioneer and leader in India with global recognition in Electricity Metering, Monitoring and Management Systems. He also founded X Design Ventures, an innovator in Automotive Electronics.

He is also Vice-Chairman & Director of Jayem Automotives Ltd, and Independent Director of Nava Bharat Ventures Ltd, as well as Founder Promoter of Magellan Life Sciences. He was also nominated as Director of APEDC (Government of Andhra Pradesh).

Dr Rao is a graduate in Electronic Engineering from Andhra University, and a post-graduate in Electronic Engineering from Birla Institute of Science & Technology, Pilani. He was awarded a Doctorate from the Royal College of Science & Technology, University of Strathclyde, UK.

He published more than 15 original research papers in various international journals. He has participated in more than 20 international seminars and conferences. He is also an active member of many trade associations.
