Prof. Anand Bhalerao is Principal & Dean, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, College of Engineering, Pune.

With over two decades of experience in teaching, Prof Bhalerao began his career as a Lecturer in Civil Engineering Department of Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, Pune, Maharashtra, later becoming Head of the Department.

Prof. Bhalerao received his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli in 1985 and Post-graduation in 1990, then a PhD in Hydraulics Engineering in 2004 from University of Pune.

He is also a member of several professional bodies such as the Indian Society for Technical Education, Indian Environmental Association, Indian Road Congress, Pune Construction Engineering & Research Foundation, Pune and the Institution of Engineers. He is presently Vice-President of Indian Society of Hydraulics.

He has more than 43 research papers to his credit at national and international conferences and in reputed journals.
