Bharat Bhasker, Director, IIM Raipur is a transformational leader and an experienced Information Technology Professor with vast experience working in the higher education industry. Bhasker had been associated with IIM Lucknow for 24 years where he served as Dean, Director and then Professor & Chairman, I.T. & Systems Management.

Bhasker holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technology, E&C from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee and a PhD in Computer Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

His expertise spans across various fields including Lecturing, IT Strategy, Digital Transformation, Electronic Commerce, Business Process Re-engineering, Business Analytics, Optimization, and Data Analysis.

He has also authored two books: Electronic Commerce: Framework Technologies & Applications and Recommender Systems in eCommerce.
