Dr Neetu Bhagat is Deputy Director at All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and looking after Skill development, Internship and Student Induction programme.
She has completed her MSc and PhD in Agriculture with specialization in Plant Protection from G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand.
Dr Bhagat is a Member of Chartered Management Institute (CMI), Corby, Northants and visited Dudley College, UK as coordinator for a study tour of TELDP under UKIERI initiative.
She was awarded the Cochran Fellowship of USDA, USA and visited the USA for advanced training on Food Safety and Quality Management Systems.
She has worked as Academic Coordinator and Assistant Director at CCS National Institute of Agricultural Marketing. She has undertaken various International and National Training, Consultancy and Research Projects and has developed various Training Modules for senior and middle-level executives of the State Agricultural Marketing Boards, Agriculture and Horticulture department and organized more than 90 Training of Trainers and Farmer Awareness Programmes.
She has developed the “Pesticide Evaluation Report and Safe Use Action Plan” (PERSUAP) under Partner for Innovation in Agriculture Programme (PIKA), USAID.
Dr Bhagat has published various research papers in reputed journals on Toxicology, Plant Projection and Organic Farming etc.
