Dr P Bhaskar, Principal of Gates Institute of Technology, Gooty, has a total of 33 years of experience in academics.

He has a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from SV University, Tirupati, an MTech from IISc Bangalore, a PhD from UWE, Bristol, UK and a PGCE from UWE, Bristol, UK.

Dr Bhaskar has previously served as Principal, KITS, Ramtek, Nagpur, Principal, SVCET, Chittoor and Visiting Research Fellow, the University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol, UK.

He conducts guest and expert lectures/training programmes in NITs, IITs and abroad at Aalborg University, Copenhagen Business School and the University of Bristol.

He is the author of numerous research publications in both the national and international arenas.

Dr Bhaskar is the recipient of several awards and accolades including the Rajiv Gandhi Educational Excellence Award in 2012 and the Educational Excellence Award by IIEM, New Delhi in 2011.
