Dr Pankaj Sharma, Director- Admissions & Outreach, SRM University, has over 22 years years of varied experience in Sales and Marketing in Media, Education, FMCG and IT sectors, and his area of interest is in conducting career counselling sessions for students and parents. He has served in senior-level positions in many organisations, including NIIT University, BML Munjal University, The Tribune Trust, Dainik Bhaskar Group, MID DAY, Indian Express and HT Media Ltd.

Dr Sharma has completed his graduation in Electronics (Hons.) from Delhi University and received a Gold Medal in his PGDBM. He has a PhD in Marketing in Consumer Behaviour. He has also completed a one-year diploma from IIM, Lucknow in Senior Management Program- Global Leadership.

Dr Sharma has experience in new business and market development, product launching, supply chain management and handling distribution network. During his corporate journey, Dr Sharma was one of the core team members involved in launching the Hindustan Times in Chandigarh, Hindustan in Meerut City, DNA in Rajasthan, MID DAY in Delhi and many more.

He is also the recipient of several awards and honours for his work in the corporate sector.
