Dr Prakash H Patil, Ex. Vice Principal & Ex. Dean Academics DYPCOE; Professor, D. Y. Patil University Pune Ambi; Executive Committee Member IETE , has close to 4 decades of experience in teaching, industry and research.

He was previously Vice-Principal, Dean – Academics, HOD and Professor in the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department at DYPCOE, Ambi, Pune.

Dr Patil holds a PhD in Electronics Engineering and currently serves as Executive Committee Member of IETE Pune Centre. He was also Vice Chairman from 2014 to 2018.

He is Session Chair for many conferences in India and abroad and is a Life Member of professional bodies such as ISTE (LMISTE) and a Fellow Member of IETE (FIETE).

Dr Patil was been conferred the prestigious Moraya Puraskar Award in 2015 for his valuable contributions to engineering education and research.

He has published more than 80 research papers in reputed national and international conference proceedings, national and international journals, IEEE conference proceedings and IEEE Explorer.
