Dr RK Singh is currently the Registrar, Indus University, Ahmedabad, (one among the top private universities of Gujarat). He has over 3 decades of experience, with more than 15 years in the corporate world and 15 years in administrative and academics, particularly in institution building from the inception stage

Dr Singh holds an MBA in HR and a PhD. in Management. His area of research was ‘A Study on Development of Sustainable Financial Model in Context to Private Universities of Gujarat’. He has in-depth knowledge of higher education rules, regulations, practices and conventions advocated by agencies such as the University Grants Commission, All India Council for Technical Education, National Board of Accreditation, National Assessment and Accreditation Council and other regulating bodies.

Dr Singh has been instrumental in establishing PDPU (Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University), Gandhinagar and Indus Institute of Technology, now a constituent Institute of Indus University, Ahmedabad.
