Dr Rohit Dutt, Dean, School of Medical & Allied Sciences, GD Goenka University, Gurgaon, has 15 years of teaching experience.

He is a medicinal chemist with expertise in Computer-Aided Drug Design. He has completed his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from MD University, Rohtak and MPharm in Pharmachemistry from GJ University Hisar.

His research areas include Lead Identification and Optimization, Chemical Computation, Structure-Activity/Property Relationship, Pharmaceutical Quality Control, Pharmaceutical Technology and Biotechnology.

He is currently pursuing research in the field of anti-cancer drug development from natural sources.

Dr Dutt has more than 50 research/review publications, most of which have been featured in international journals of repute and he is the author of 3 books.

Dr Dutt is the recipient of numerous awards including the prestigious Silver Medal by his Excellency, Honorable Governor of Haryana,  the ‘Honorary Professor’ Diploma by Bukhara State Medical Institute, Uzbekistan.

He was also bestowed with the ‘APTI Best Young Pharmacy Teacher of the Year Award’ in 2015, the ‘Nirali Prakashan’ award in 2019, as well as the ‘Atal Swasthya Bhushan Award, 2019’ by Sevron Foundation.
