Ian Davies, Head of School, Garodia International Centre for Learning, Mumbai, has over two decades of rich experience in the field of education.
He holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in History and Sociology from the University of Warwick, a Master’s degree in International & Comparative Education and a Doctor of Education in Leadership, Complexity Theory and Values Education from the University of Bath.
For 16 years, Davies worked as an IB Educator in the Asia Pacific region where he served in various roles including as a Senior Examiner for History, Workshop Leader for History and conducted administrator/principal training, among others.
He was also IBDP Coordinator and part of the Senior Leadership Team of the British International School in Jakarta, Indonesia, where he was involved in all aspects of school leadership and at various times led Staff Development, CIS reviews, Bluesky, Staff Induction and building projects.
Davies also holds the position of Chairperson of DP Coordinators Network Indonesia DUNIA.
He currently serves as Head of School – Garodia International Centre for Learning, Mumbai, which follows a strong service-oriented philosophy combined with an attention to values education that puts people at the centre of its educational practice.
