Shankar Singh Adhikari is Principal of The Rajkumar College, Rajkot. He studied at Rajkumar College, Raipur (C.G.) and completed his Master’s degree in Modern History from Allahabad University.

Adhikari was the Vice-Principal of Rajkumar College, Raipur – his alma mater for 15 years. He was the HOD of History in Assam Rifles Public School, Shillong and GD Birla Memorial School, Ranikhet, UP.

Adhikari also worked as a Senior School Teacher (History) at The Indian School, Al Ghubra, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. He is a member of the Governing body of Ummed International School, Mount Abu.

Adhikari was nominated as a member of the General Council of Rajkumar College, Raipur from 1995 to 1998.

He was selected to be a member of a group of 10 principals from India who toured Canadian universities in Nova Scotia and Labrador under the auspice of ‘Indian Educator Delegates’ hosted by the Canadian Govt in June 2011.
