Prof. Kuntal De, Faculty and Alumni NID, Design Consultant to UN, began his career in Craft and Cluster Development, Design for Community, Training and Education. His work has had a major focus on project framework development, implementation planning and project management; field Research, monitoring & evaluation, impact assessment, documentation, authoring of reports, concept notes & proposals have been integral to these projects.

He had spent over 20 years working in the areas of, Outreach, Training and Education; Community and Youth Development with several assignments in Monitoring & Evaluation framework development and Impact Assessment.

He has been involved in a number of National and International assignments aimed at learning for development, community engagement and strategic framework building.

Prof De has also been a consultant to the Commonwealth of Learning (COL), Vancouver, Canada, and Young Professionals for Agricultural Research and Development (YPARD); as well as a Facilitator for Oxfam International Youth Partnership (OIYP).

He is also a visiting faculty member at NID, IIMA and Indian Institute of Craft and Design (IICD), Jaipur.
