Dr Atish Chattopadhyay, Vice-Chancellor Vijaybhoomi University is an entrepreneur, educator and a keen proponent of globalisation of Indian Business Education.
He has a PhD in Management Studies from Aligarh Muslim University, India, PGDM in General Management from Indian Institute of Social Welfare & Business Management, India and a Professional Degree in Hospitality Studies from National Council Of Hotel Management, India.
Dr Chattopadhyay previously held leadership positions at top institutions in the country, including SPJIMR, Mumbai; MICA, Ahmedabad; and IMT, Ghaziabad.
Under his leadership, these schools initiated path-breaking pedagogical innovations, winning global accolades, including earning a place on AACSB’s ‘Innovations that Inspire’ list. As a Professor of Marketing, Dr Chattopadhyay has published in leading journals and consulted with top MNCs covering the Asia Pacific and Latin America regions.
At IFIM, he has pioneered a study in association with the industry to curate a graduate management curriculum that caters to the needs of Industry 4.0 to groom Leaders 4.0. He has spoken at several national and international forums and his views are regularly published in media.
