Prof. Ujjwal K Chowdhury is Pro Vice-Chancellor, Adamas University, Kolkata. He is is a leading media and communication academic in India. He is known for his convergent approach to media education starting from an integrated broad base leading to focused specialisation at the top.

A known face in TV studio debates and a regular writer in Indian media, Prof. Chowdhury also served as Dean of Amity University, Dean of DGMC Media College, Mumbai University, Dean of Symbiosis Media School and Deano of Whistling Woods International. He was also Director of NSHM Media & Design School.

He has been associated with several media organisations including Business India TV, Zee News, Times of India Group and WHO Media.

Prof. Chowdhury is the recipient of the Golden Triangle Award by the Global Forum for Public Relations and has been honoured with the Hall of Fame in PR and PR Education by Public Relations Council of India.
