Dr Vaishali Patil, Principal, International Institute of Information Technology, has more than 26 years of rich experience in the fields of teaching, research and administration.

She has completed a BE and an ME in Electronics from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli, and has a PhD from IIT Bombay.

Dr Patil is a Member of the Board of Studies of Instrumentation Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Shivaji University. She is also a Member on various University Staff Selection Committees for faculty recruitment in Shivaji University as a Subject Expert.

She is a Life Member of ISTE and IETE, a Member of the International Speech Communication Association (ISCA) and a Member of IEEE and WiE (Women in Engineering) branch of IEEE.

She has more than 20 publications in international journals and conferences to her credit and is the recipient of the ‘Best Thesis Award’, by IIT Bombay in August 2015.
