Dr Harjinder Singh Rose, Vice-Chancellor of Guru Kashi University, holds nearly five decades of rich experience in the field of education and has been associated with several educational institutions in various capacities.
He has a BSc, MSc and a PhD from Punjab University. He is also Fellow, National Environmental Research Society, Fellow, Entomological Society of India, Fellow, Academy of Zoology of India, and Fellow, Royal Entomological Society, London, and others.
Dr Rose is the author of over 200 research papers and 3 books. He is also a regular participant in national and international conferences.
He was bestowed with the ‘Bharat Excellence Award 2015’ by Friendship Forum, New Delhi, the ‘Leading Scientist of the World – 2012’ award by International Biographical Centre, Cambridge and the Environmentalist of the Year Award – 2003 by National Environmental Science Academy, New Delhi
Dr Rose is also the recipient of the Academy’s Gold Medal by Indian Academy of Environmental Sciences.
