Dr CLVRSV Prasad is Alternate Chairman of GMRIT Governing Council & Principal, GMR Institute of Technology.

He has a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Nagarjuna University, AP, an MTech in Design and Production – M/C Tools from REC, Warangal, AP and a PhD in Mechanical from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.

Among his many achievements during his tenure with GMR Institute of Technology, Dr Prasad was actively involved in steering various academic activities for accreditation and took a leading role in getting all seven branches accredited by NBA.

He also introduced various faculty monitoring and evaluation systems for improving the quality of the teaching/learning process.

Dr Prasad is a Life Member of ISTE, a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India), a Member of The American Society of Mechanical Engineers and a Member of IEEE.

He is the author of 10 journals and is a regular speaker at national and international conferences and seminars.
