Dr Hrridaysh Deshpande, Director, DYPDC Centre for Automotive Research & Studies, holds over 25 years of experience in the field of education.

He is an education entrepreneur and has been responsible for the establishment, overall strategy, implementation and daily running of educational institutions such as Universities, Schools, Engineering Colleges, Management Institutes and institutes offering education in niche areas.

Over the years, he has acquired proficiency in business innovation strategy and design-driven innovation. His focus is on structured innovation practices for organizational innovation via appropriate tools, methods and processes.

Through his work, he has assisted leading companies across a range of industries.

Dr Deshpande has been associated with the India Design Council as a consultant advisor and is spearheading the India Design Mark program in cooperation with Good Design Award, Japan.

He has authored the India Design Reports published in 2009, 2011 and 2014 and has been curating the CII NID Design Summit since 2010.
